The Swachhata Hi Seva 2024 campaign, organized by the Government of India in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Regional Directorate of NSS Bangalore, and the Government of Karnataka, was conducted from 17th September to 2nd October. NSS volunteers from Padua College participated in this 16-day initiative, actively cleaning various locations, including the College campus, Padua Ground, Sharbathkatte Road, Kadri Park, and Padua Bus Stand. The campaign concluded with a significant event at Thannirubavi Beach tree park, where students from Mangalore University, Yenapoya (Deemed to be University), and Nitte (Deemed to be University) joined forces to clean the beach. A total of 76 students and coordinators from Padua College took part in both the beach cleanup and the subsequent stage program. This initiative reflects the dedication of students to maintaining cleanliness and promoting environmental sustainability.
