Department of Languages of Padua College of Commerce and Management organised a celebration on the occasion of Kannada Rajyothsava on 5th November 2024 at 2.00 P.M in the college Auditorium. The Chief Guest for this program was Prof. Krishnamurthy – Principal Govinda Das College, Mangalore who signified the importance of Kannada Rajyothsava and also gave a brief history of Karnataka. The other dignitaries on the dais were Principal Rev. Fr. Arun Wilson Lobo , Vice Principal Prof. Roshan Santhumayor, HOD of Department of Languages Mrs. Pramila Mascarenhas , the Student representatives – Mr. Jayaprakash -II BCA and Ms. Prerana – II B.Com. After the formal program , the students also gave cultural program which consisted of dance and song. The program came to an end by singing the Karnataka anthem.
