National Service Scheme (NSS) organised Inauguration of NSS Activities 2024-2025 at 2.30 P.M in Room No 8 on 12th September 2024. The total participants for this event were 97 NSS Volunteers. The Resource person for this program was Mr. Akshay Saripalla – Padua Alumnus and Kannada and Tulu Actor . The dignitaries on the dais were Vice Principal Prof. Roshan Santhumayor , NSS Coordinators Prof. Shridhar , Mr. Ramesh and Mrs. Reshma Dsouza . The NSS unit leaders Mr. Gagan II BCA and Ms. Devika -II BCA. Mr. Akshay stressed the importance of Being a NSS Volunteer And how Being a NSS volunteer has helped him to be a better person and improved his skills. He also specified how attending the NSS camp changed his life and taught him life and survival skills . Vice Principal Prof. Roshan also explained about the significance of Being a NSS Volunteer and it builds relationship and rapport between the volunteers and forms good and better bonds. Lamp was lighted as a symbol of new beginning and NSS song was sung by the volunteers. The program was hosted by Ms. Viola -I BCA , The guest were welcomed by Ms. Dhanya II BCA and the vote of thanks was proposed by Ms. Devika – II BCA.
