NSS Annual camp for the year 2018-19 was held at St John Higher Primary School, Allipade. This camp started on 14th December 2018 and came to an end on 20th December 2018. The inauguration of the NSS Camp was on 164h December 2017 at 4.00 PM. The special Guest for this program was: Our Principal Rev. Fr. Alwin Serrao, The Parish Priest of Allipade- Rev. Fr.Fredrick Monteiro, Mr Padmashekar Jain, member of Zilla Panchayat, Mr Leo Fernandes, Vice-President, Parish council, NSS coordinator Mr. Roshan Santhumayor and the Student Representatives. The general routine of the Camp was- the day started with waking up at 5.00 A.M and completing our daily personal work then exercise under the Guidance of Padua Physical Director- Mr. Hariprasad Alva at 6.00 A.M then Flag hoisting at 6.30 A.M then tea or coffee after which the work started till 8.30 A.M after which breakfast was served. Then again work resumed till 11.00 A.M after which there was a short break for refreshments and then work continued till 12.00 PM. Then Break for bath and other personal work. Lunch at 1.00 Pm then educational session after which tea and coffee. There was practice for the evening cultural program. The cultural program started at 6.30 P.M and went up till 8.00 PM. After which dinner then Chintana Manthana program after which rest for the day. The special attraction of the NSS Camp was the visit to the Karinjeshwara temple. There were total 78 students and six lecturers.
The NSS camp was a grand success and was a learning experience to the students and the teachers. This was an opportunity to experience Village life.
