The play "T. Prasannana Grihasthashram" authored by P. Lankesh, translated to konkani as "Home Sweet Home" by Roshu Bajpe, which is directed by Clanwin Fernandis Kalaakul saw a successful performance , in the auditorium of Padua College by the artists of "Asthithva"(regd.), Mangalore. The absurd play of 60's showcased the never changing conflict and ambiguity of life we experience, even today. This proved that audience would receive well a konkani absurd play if performed excellently. The performance was associated with Padua Ranga Adhyayana Kendra and first of its kind performed in the auditorium. It was an intimate theater performance for limited audience, who were experts in thearte and literature .It was graced by the presence of Rt. Rev. Dr. Peter Paul Saldhana , newly appointed Bishop of Mangalore. A review of the performance was arranged at the end. There was also a felicitation held for the students of Dakshina Kannada District who got selected to study theatre at the various centes of the state namely Rangayana and Neenasam. Mr Xavier Dsouza, Principal Puttur Women's College wished all success to Asthithva team. Rev Fr Alwyn Serao, Principal Padua College of Commerce and Management compered the program.
