National Service Scheme & Youth Red Cross of Padua College of Commerce and Management in collaboration with CODP organised a seminar on 'Climatic Emergency and Global Warming' in the CODP Seminar hall on 14th February 2025 at 11.20 A.M. There were total 60 students who participated in this seminar. The seminar started with a small formal program which was hosted by CODP director Rev. Fr. Vincent Dsouza. The resource person for this seminar was Prof. Stephen Quadros- Associate Professor – Government First Grade College for Women Puttur. In the talk Prof. Stephen focused on the evolution of climate, explained about the concepts of Climate Change, Climate Emergency and Climate Crisis. He provided information on what is global warming, the causes and impacts of Global Warming. The conclusion included how as individuals each one of us can take small steps to avoid Global warming and save our environment.
