Cultural Club of Padua College of Commerce and Management hosted Freshers Day program as a gesture of welcoming the first year students . The Program was held on 24th November 2024 at 10.00 A.M in Padua Auditorium. The special invitees for this program were as the President of the program the Principal Rev. Fr. Arun Wilson Lobo , the Chief Guest Mr. Prashanth C. K- A tulu actor , an Yakshagana artist and Daiji World TV Anchor who gave the message that participating in these kind of cultural events is necessary for the growth of students and also gave us all a glimpse of his experience in his college days , Guest of Honour Prof. Karunakar Nayak - Retired Principal of BMPS college Shirva , Vice Principal Prof. Roshan Santhumayor , The Cultural Co-ordinators Prof. Thanuja and Ms. Seema Pereira , Cultural Club President Mr. Clide and Secretary Ms. Bhavya. The guests were welcomed By Ms. Seema Pereira and the Vote of Thanks was proposed by Prof. Thnauja . The program also included Book Release ceremony - a book titled 'Financial Accounting I' written by Prof. Roshan and Prof. Karunakar. The hosts for the formal program were MS. Sinchana- I BBA and Ms. Viola - I BCA. Immediately after the formal program the cultural program commenced which was hosted by Ms. Lavanya- III BCA & Ms. Bhavya- I BCA . The freshers gave very energetic and mesmerizing performances , there were also few fun games which were conducted to the first year students. The seniors also gave vibrant and enthusiastic performances.
