A health awareness programme on Doomscrolling, Doomsurfing and its Neurological Hazards was organised by the NSS unit of the college for all the NSS volunteers on Saturday, 26th June. This webinar was held at 11:45 am on the Google Meet platform. Dr Laxmi Mallya, MBBS, Chief Medical Officer at Government Primary Health Center, Kulai, was the resource person at this occasion. An interactive session took place as the resource person highlighted the effect of over usage of our phone caused in our lives. She explained the concept of Doomscrolling and Doomsurfing and how it leads to various kinds of neurological problems on each one. A total of 103 volunteers participated in this webinar.
