The National Service Scheme Unit of Padua College of Commerce and Management along with the District Health Department organised “Covid-19 Vaccination Drive” on Friday, 2nd July. All the students and staff of the college were given this opportunity to get vaccinated. This event began with a small inauguration program, where the Correspondent of the college – Rev. Fr Vincent Monteiro and the Principal of the college, Rev. Fr Alwin Serrao, highlighted the importance of the vaccine and gave their well wishes to the gathering. Mrs Seema of the Padil Health Centre gave instruction on the process of the vaccination.
The NSS volunteers saw to the social distancing and maintained the proper sanitisation throughout the day. A total of 406 students and staff got vaccinated on this occasion.
